Appointment Hours

We support our students. However, since we are almost always in appointments, we can only communicate via e-mail and do not have free sessions. We set up meetings via e-mail for office appointments, virtual sessions, or asynchronously. We have a virtual office system that allows us to see you, share screens, and edit together. If you e-mail Dr. Rachel Winston at rwinston@uchicago.edu, she will reply within 24 hours.

Medical School Advising

Dr. Winston assists students with portfolios, art descriptions, and essays, essays, essays.

We charge $195/hour for two-hour sessions or $295/hour for one hour in-person or online.

All payments must be received by the time of the appointment.

We can meet you for appointments in our Irvine office/virtual office, via phone call, or asynchronously. Our virtual office allows us to see each other, share screens, and edit together. 

We charge $195/hour for asynchronous research, editing, and application review. A $200 discount is available for every 10 2-hour sessions paid ahead of time. We also help with portfolio packages and edit/publish journal articles and books. Our rates remain the same whether you are pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies.

Please note that we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Whatever the extenuating circumstances (illness, emergency, homework, or other meeting), 24 hours notice is required. If you cancel within the 24-hour period, you must pay for the time.
